Pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter "Regulation"), this page describes the methods of processing the personal data of users who consult the project PROMO-TT Instrument site: https://promott.cnr.it.

Following consultation of the site indicated above, data relating to identified or identifiable natural persons may be processed. The information concerning the users of the site is treated with correctness, lawfulness, and transparency, always protecting confidentiality and rights in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679, Legislative Decree 196/2003 and other applicable provisions on personal data protection.

Legal basis of the processing

The personal data indicated in this information are processed by the CNR in the execution of its public interest tasks or in any case connected to the exercise of its public powers vested in the Data Controller, according to the provisions of article 6, paragraph 1, letter e) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

Types of data processed and purposes of the processing

Navigation data

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this site acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of computers and terminals used by users, the addresses in URI / URL (Uniform Resource Identifier / Locator) notation of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used in submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the operating system and the user's computer environment.

These data, necessary for the use of web services, are also processed for the purpose of:

  • obtaining statistical information on the use of services (most visited pages, number of visitors by time or day, geographical areas of origin, etc.);
  • checking the correct functioning of the services offered.

The navigation data does not held for more than 14 months (except for any need to ascertain crimes by the judicial authorities).

Data communicated by the user

The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of messages to the contact addresses of the CNR, the private messages sent by users to institutional profiles / pages on social media (where this possibility is foreseen), involve the acquisition of the sender's contact data, necessary to respond, as well as all personal data included in communications.

Cookies

Cookies consist of portions of code installed in the browser that assist the Owner in providing the service according to the purposes described. Some of the purposes for installing cookies may also require the consent of the user.

This Site uses technical Cookies to save the User's session and to carry out other activities that are strictly necessary for its functioning. The prior consent of the users is not required for their installation.

The personal data collected are processed by CNR staff, who act on the basis of specific instructions provided on the basis of the purposes and methods of the processing itself.

Rights of interested parties

The interested parties have the right to obtain from the CNR, in the cases provided for, access to their personal data and the correction or cancellation of the same or the limitation of the processing that concerns them or to oppose the processing (Article 15 et seq. of the Regulation). The appropriate application to the CNR can be presented by contacting the Contact Point of the Data Controller at the references indicated above.

Right of complaint

Interested parties who believe that the processing of personal data referring to them carried out through this site is in violation of the provisions of the Regulations have the right to lodge a complaint with the Guarantor for the Protection of Personal Data, as required by art. 77 of the Regulation itself, or to take the appropriate judicial offices pursuant to art. 79 of the Regulation.
