The technology consists of a simulation tool developed using 3D WebGIS, capable of producing approximate forecasts of the effects of meteorological phenomena that may affect riverbeds in the observed areas. The technology features an analysis platform with graphical representation of the results in the form of three-dimensional animations. The simulation is based on the morphology of the terrain adjacent to the affected riverbed, taking into account elevation to determine the direction of expansion of the water mass.

REMOTE is an advanced multi-parameter home telemonitoring system designed for patients with a first diagnosis of heart failure. The main objective is to reduce hospitalisation rates and healthcare costs, while ensuring a significant improvement in quality of life. Environmental contamination is a prominent topic. Where the exposure to contaminants such as heavy metals (HMs) or polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) is greater, the incidence of chronic degenerative diseases, such as oncologic, is increased. Scientific evidence reports that some phytochemicals are able to interact with HMs and PAHs by interfering with their cellular metabolism, inhibiting their cytotoxic mechanisms or helping to reduce tissue concentrations.

We have identified compounds that show a neuroprotective action in vivo, in models of neurodegenerative diseases (e.g. SMA, Parkinson, Alzheimer, Huntington) in the model organism C. elegans. These compounds consist of: mixtures of 22 natural extracts, 15 natural molecules and 11 synthetic molecules.
