Description

A next-generation reconfigurable photonic platform that is compact, versatile, and suitable for a wide range of spectroscopic modalities, including reflection, absorption, colorimetry, and fluorescence with single or multi-wavelength excitation. The prototype features a pocket-sized 3D-printed enclosure integrating a circular array of 12 LEDs, with wavelengths customized to the target application, and a miniaturized spectrometer positioned at the center of the array to act as the detector. System operation is managed via a proprietary, reconfigurable LabVIEW software interface. Optional AI/ML modules are available for advanced, application-specific processing of the spectroscopic data.
